Born with a fervent passion for the arts, Kerry-Ann Collins, known professionally as ChineyK, cultivated her love for the Creative Arts and Drama during her formative years at Morris Hills High School in New Jersey. Following her graduation, she pursued her artistic aspirations at William Paterson University, where she delved into film studies at California State University-Northridge, ultimately earning a Bachelor's Degree in Media Studies with a Minor in Film Studies from William Paterson University.

Despite her academic excellence and active involvement in student government, including roles as Junior Class President and Senior Vice President, the transition from university to the professional realm posed challenges. However, undeterred by early setbacks and the resounding echoes of rejection, ChineyK transformed adversity into opportunity. Taking matters into her own hands, she embarked on a journey to the world of entertainment by initiating a YouTube series called the "On My Mind Series," after persuading her sister to purchase a camera. The series quickly garnered attention, propelling her into the entertainment industry and opening doors across various states in the U.S., Cuba, India, and Jamaica. By mid-2018, she had reinvented herself, leveraging her communication skills through social media platforms.

As time unfolded, ChineyK's trajectory soared. In 2021, she clinched victory in The Social House, a Jamaican reality show, and was honored as the top Social Media Personality in Jamaica. Additionally, she was recognized among the top 25 women to watch by Flair Magazine. In the same year, ChineyK embarked on a new endeavor as a Radio Personality and producer on Fyah 105 FM, further solidifying her presence and earning her the prestigious title of Best Jamaican Radio/Online Personality by Jamaicans.com.

Today, as a mom and triumphant entrepreneur overseeing her globally distributed hair care line, Joli Faire Hair, she epitomizes resilience and adaptability in navigating the ever-evolving landscape of entertainment and business industries.
