Chrislyn Lashington is a Caribbean media strategist, producer, and creative entrepreneur based in Grenada. She is the CEO of Lashington Agency, a marketing, communications, and entertainment agency working across the Caribbean and its diaspora to build media narratives rooted in culture, credibility, and community impact.
With over 15 years of experience spanning public relations, content strategy, and media production, Chrislyn has led communications and editorial initiatives for governments, non-profits, and cultural institutions, including UNESCO-funded heritage projects, the German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ), the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies, the Grenada Tourism Authority, and regional public health campaigns. Her work focuses on helping Caribbean stories travel across platforms in ways that remain grounded in local context, lived experience, and deliver positive community impact.
Chrislyn is also an active cultural producer. She created Upstage TV Show, an entertainment platform launched during the pandemic, and produces flagship events such as BeachBum, a Carnival Sunday experience at Spicemas, and Love Fest, a Valentine’s weekend music festival celebrating connection and Caribbean artistry. Through the Lashington Agency, she has also produced national festivals for clients, including Pan 50 & Food Fest for Grenada’s 50th Anniversary of Independence celebrations and the upcoming Grenada Flower Festival, scheduled for November 2026. These projects explore how owned platforms, live experiences, and community-driven storytelling can build lasting audience trust.
In addition, Chrislyn is the founder of Jab in Shape, an Afro-Caribbean dance fitness programme that blends movement, health education, and cultural exchange. Delivered both in person and through digital media, the programme promotes wellness while preserving and sharing Caribbean music and dance traditions across generations and audiences.
Alongside production, Chrislyn provides media training and strategic advisory services for entertainers, senior executives, and government ministers, supporting interview preparation, message discipline, and public-facing communications. Known on air as Msy.Chrissy, she brings first-hand experience as both interviewer and interviewee across television, radio, digital, and live stages.
Chrislyn holds a Master’s in Public Health and lectures in Digital Marketing at the University of the West Indies. Her work sits at the intersection of media power, cultural equity, and regional storytelling, advocating for Caribbean-owned media ecosystems built to last.
