Danny Creatah, infected with Reggae Mylitis since the age of 13, is the founder and driving force behind the international platform World A Reggae (worldareggae.com), established in 2010. What began as a passion-driven outlet for reggae culture has grown into one of the most recognizable independent voices within the global reggae landscape, connecting upcoming artists, fans, and industry professionals through interviews, reviews, visual storytelling, and cultural insight.

With over 35 years of professional design experience, Danny has built a unique bridge between music, visuals, and storytelling. His creative work extends far beyond photography and journalism, helping shape the visual presence of artists, music releases, and reggae-related projects while maintaining a strong focus on authenticity and the utmost respect for Jamaican reggae culture.

Over the past decades, World A Reggae has become a trusted and familiar presence in Jamaica as well as across the international reggae scene. From festivals and conferences to artist collaborations and media coverage, his consistent dedication to reggae music has earned him recognition as a respected, strong-willed, independent voice who values both the foundation and the future of the genre. Through World A Reggae, the straightforward Dutchman continues to spotlight emerging talent alongside legendary artists, contributing to reggae’s global narrative from a grounded and culturally aware perspective, topped off with a dash of Dutch directness.

In 2028, Danny received a GRAMMY nomination for his sleeve design of Etana’s “Reggae Forever” album, further highlighting his ability to merge visual artistry with musical heritage. Today, he is expanding World A Reggae beyond a traditional media platform, focusing on innovative content, more creative collaborations, and new ways to bring reggae culture to a wider audience while staying true to its roots.
