Emerging from Canaan Heights, Clarendon, reggae artist and cultural ambassador Jahdon represents a contemporary voice grounded in tradition while pushing the genre forward. Through his independent label, Look Ya Noww Entertainment, he gained national attention with the single “Congo Bongo” and the Congo Bongo EP in 2017, introducing a sound marked by lyrical depth, spiritual consciousness, and rhythmic clarity.
His debut album, 369 (2020), earned critical acclaim, with The Jamaica Gleaner naming him “Reggae Music’s Next Messenger.” In 2022, Jahdon released his sophomore album, i, a more introspective body of work exploring identity, faith, and self-awareness through refined songwriting and deliberate production.

The album i, featuring the single “Broomie,” deepened appreciation for Jamaican culture beyond music. Raised in a community of traditional broom makers, Jahdon used the song to highlight Jamaica’s diminishing broom-making culture. He later transformed this message into tangible cultural expression by innovating the Jamaican broom into a line of jewelry and souvenir artifacts.

Jahdon’s Broomie music merchandise was named a Top Finalist for Best New Product Innovation at the Tourism Product Development Company’s 2024 Craft with a Difference Expo and won the Ministry of Industry, Investment and Commerce Pitch Competition in 2025. The merchandise is now featured in tourist gift shops across the island.

Jahdon represents a new generation of reggae artists - intentional in message, disciplined in craft, and committed to music as a vehicle for cultural truth and global resonance.
