Karen Civil is an award winning brand strategist, marketer, and entrepreneur who has spent over a decade shaping culture across entertainment, sports, politics, and lifestyle. She is known for building campaigns that connect audiences, move culture, and drive real business outcomes.

Karen spent more than ten years at Beats by Dre, playing a key role in helping scale the brand into a global powerhouse through community driven and culturally relevant strategy. She also brought that same expertise to the political arena during Hillary Clinton’s 2016 presidential campaign, advising on community engagement and cultural strategy.

Her work includes creating defining moments for artists such as Nipsey Hussle, Clipse, and Teyana Taylor, as well as landmark initiatives like the Nipsey Hussle MetroLink card launch in Los Angeles and the rollout of Shedeur Sanders’ transition into the NFL.

Previously, Karen served as General Manager for Lil Wayne, overseeing Young Money’s business portfolio and leading brand partnerships across sports, lifestyle, and spirits. Today, through her agency Always Civil, she continues to build campaigns and activations rooted in authenticity, storytelling, and long term impact, creating moments that extend well beyond a single campaign.
