Otis Hamilton

Otis O. Hamilton has spent his twenty-five (25) years of formal employment in the fields of Accounting, Finance, Sales and Marketing.

His first job out of Jamaica College was in tax compliance at the Jamaica Revenue Services where he held various accounting posts until leaving to start his own accounting firm.

His business grew to include Sales and Marketing which lead to an offer to Join the Jamaica Gleaner Team in the sales and marketing department.

Mr. Hamilton merged his new skills in Sales and Marketing with his passion for accounts to Join the Life Insurance, Pension and Investment field as a Financial Advisor in 2010.

He has since achieved numerous accolades in the industry to include regularly qualifying for his company’s Century Club and Highflyer Awards, in addition to the international accreditation of M.D.R.T member.

He has given back to the Industry through representation and volunteerism. These have seen him rise to the position of President of Jamaica Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (JAIFA). He currently serves as a Director of the Caribbean Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (CARAIFA), Jamaica’s Country Chairman for The General Agents Management Association (GAMA) Global and a director of The Jamaica Medical Foundation (JMF).

His leadership has extended to major community work, which saw him serving as a Councilor at K.S.A.C. from 2012 to 2016.

Mr. Hamilton has been a successful manager in the Financial Services Field since 2017 and currently heads the Life Insurance, Health and Pension Department of one of Jamaica’s leading Brokerages, while, consistently making time to teach the internationally accredited Financial Services Certificate Program (FSCP) for the last five years.

Notwithstanding his corporate work, Mr. Hamilton is a vested member of the entertainment fraternity.
He is an acclaimed Master of Ceremonies for the last twenty years.

A lover of music and disk jock since high school who still performs at events.

Mr. Hamilton currently has two radio shows and assists in artist management and music production for new artist.
He is an experienced party promoter and trained event manager.

Mr. Hamilton has worked on numerous local and regional events and can be accredited for being the Spectator Experience Manager for the, incident free, Jamaica leg of Cricket World Cup held in the Caribbean.

Mr. Hamilton is also a Farmer and father of two beautiful daughters, Jada-Marie 15 years old and Jordyn-Nae 3 years old.
