Philip Clarke

Philip Clarke has over twenty (20) years’ experience as a trained teacher who has tutored oral communication, public speaking, public relations, dance choreography and drama.
He is a practitioner in dance, acting, directing, and theatrical productions and founded while in Montego Bay his own performing arts company, Dance Spirit Performing Arts which was in existence from 2003 to 2015.
Philip Clarke, having won two Actor Boy awards in 2010 and 2019 for his role as Best Supporting Actor in a stage play, has prepared him to be the Performance Coach who trains current performing artists in the art of performance and public speakers to their highest level.
He was the President of the Western Knights Toastmaster Club in Montego Bay from 2013 to 2014 and in 2022 was awarded Best Evaluator at the District level in Toastmasters International.
As a film actor, he was cast in the recently released HBO series, Get Millie Black and is the creator and host of his podcast Lights, Camera: Real Life which airs on YouTube and Spotify.
He lectures part time in Oral Communication and Professional Voice and Speech at the University of Technology, Jamaica where his current position is Director of Arts and Culture at the Centre for the Arts.
